At 17:55 on August 10, 2026, the Sixian Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow warning signal for severe convection. Within 6 hours, most towns (streets) in our county, such as Shantou, Liuwei, Heita, Dunji, Dalukou, Changgou, and Caogou, will experience strong lightning activity, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms of level 8 or above, and strong convective weather in some areas. Please take precautions.

The Sixian Meteorological Observatory will continue to issue a blue typhoon warning signal at 17:16 on August 10, 2026. Affected by Typhoon "White Dolphin", it is expected that the average wind speed in most areas of our county will reach 4-5 levels within 24 hours, with gusts of 7-8 levels. From August 10 to 13, there was an obvious rainfall process in our county, with rainstorm in some areas, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, gale, lightning and other severe convective weather. Please pay attention to prevention.

Description

Within 24 hours may be or has been affected by a tropical cyclone, coastal or land average wind force is 6 or more, or gust can reach 8 or more and may persist.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop outdoor group activities and high-altitude outdoor dangerous operations;

3. Water operations in relevant waters and passing ships take active countermeasures, such as returning to the port to avoid wind or sailing in a detour, etc.;

4. Reinforce doors and windows, enclosures, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, and cut off dangerous outdoor power sources.
