Visibility reduced to a half mile or less at times. * WHERE...Central Alaska Peninsula, Northern Alaska Peninsula, and Southern Alaska Peninsula. * WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty northwest winds combined with widespread snow showers will cause significantly reduced visibilities in blowing snow. The worst conditions are expected along the coast between Pilot Point and Nelson Lagoon. Conditions will slowly improve on Sunday as snow showers gradually diminish.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills from 10 to 25 below expected. * WHERE...Central Alaska Peninsula, Chignik, and Southern Alaska Peninsula. * WHEN...From midnight AKST tonight to 1 PM AKDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if exposed to these temperatures. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold northerly flow and enhanced wind gusts will lead to a period of frigid wind chills over the weekend through Monday morning. By Monday afternoon, a slight warming trend will occur, raising wind chills closer to zero.
