Nansha District Meteorological Observatory issues a white typhoon warning

White Typhoon Warning for Nansha District: At 14:00 on the 3rd, Typhoon "Madm" (severe tropical storm level) was located on the sea surface about 1037 kilometers southeast of our district, with a maximum wind speed of 10 levels (28m/s) near the center. It is expected that "Madm" will move towards the northwest direction at a speed of about 25-30 kilometers per hour, with gradually increasing intensity. It will land in the coastal areas between western Guangdong and eastern Hainan Island during the daytime on the 5th. Due to the influence of its peripheral circulation, it is expected that there will be thunderstorms and heavy rain in our area from the night of the 4th to the 5th, with maximum gusts of 6-8 levels.
