Storm “KALMAEGI” cover the middle South China Sea made landfall over Kon Tum, middle Vietnam. The storm was downgraded to severe tropical storm. It is forecast to downgrade to tropical depression moving pass Laos. It is forecast to move into Khong Chiam district of Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand on 7 November 2025 in the afternoon before weakening into an active low pressure cell, respectively. More rain is likely in country with isolated heavy to very heavy rain and the strong winds in the Northeast of Thailand. The rather strong winds and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, waves are likely about 2 meters high, and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
