At 01:00 on March 25, the meteorological observatory of Naqu City, Xizang, issued a yellow warning signal of road icing: affected by the snow weather, it is expected that in the next 24 hours, the roads in Anduo County, Zeni District, Nerong County, Jiali County, Suoxian County, Baqing County, such as the national roads, provincial roads, county roads in the county area and the Seni section of the G6 Beijing Tibet Expressway have formed or will appear snow and ice, which will have a great adverse impact on road traffic safety. Defense measures: 1. Relevant departments such as transportation, public security, and urban management should take effective measures to carry out road snow and ice removal, as well as traffic diversion and control work; 2. The roads in the above areas have formed or are about to experience snow and ice accumulation. Vehicles passing by should take anti-skid measures, slow down, and maintain a safe distance.
Description
When the road surface temperature is lower than 0°C, precipitation occurs, and road icing that affects traffic may occur within 12 hours.
