The easterly wind prevails over the Northeast, the East, and the Gulf while the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Less rains are likely over the country but isolated heavy rain remains in the western part of the North and the Central. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
