The monsoon trough lies across the upper North into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam while the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rains are in the East and the South (west coast). The rather strong wind force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the Gulf and the lower Andaman Sea, the wave are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
