In the Liptovský Mikuláš district strong winds are expected to rise in some mountain areas reaching in short blows impact speed of up to 38 - 44 m/s (135 - 160 km/h). The predicted wind speed is above average for the area and time of the year it can pose increased danger for human activities (especially for hiking and climbing).
