Kuche Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for high temperature

At 18:50 on May 30, 2026, the Kuche Meteorological Observatory issued a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that the temperature will continue to rise from May 31 to June 4. The highest daily temperature in Tarim Town, Hanikatamu Township, Akwustang Township, Erbatai Town, Yaha Town, Wuzun Town, Bixibag Township, Dunkuotan Town, Qiman Town, Alahage Town, Yuqiwustang Township and nearby areas of Kuche City can reach 35 ℃ or above. Relevant departments are requested to do a good job in fire prevention, heatstroke prevention and cooling.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;
