The confluence of easterly and southeasterly winds prevails over the North. More rain and isolated heavy rain are likely across the country and the South, while cool mornings are possible in the North. The monsoon trough that lies across the upper South is strengthening, bringing isolated heavy rain to the South. Moderate winds and waves in the upper Gulf and the upper Andaman Sea are expected to be 1-2 meters high, and above 2 meters in thundershowers. In the lower Gulf and the lower Andaman Sea, waves are expected to be about 1 meter high, and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
