At 12:16 on April 9, 2026, the Kashgar Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the night of April 9 to 10, Kashgar City, Shufu County, and Shule County will have northwest gusts of around level 5. Mushi Township, Wupar Town, and Shiyuan Town in Shufu County, Langan Town, Boshkeranmu Township, Pahatakiri Township, and Huangdi Township in Kashgar City, Baheqi Township and Elmudong Township in Shule County and other wind prone areas will have wind speeds of 8-9 levels, with local gusts of around level 10. At the same time, some areas will be accompanied by sandstorms or short-term sandstorms. Please pay attention to prevention.

It may be affected by strong winds within 24 hours, with an average wind force of 6 or higher, or gusts of 7 or higher; or it has been affected by strong winds, with an average wind of 6-7, or 7-8 gusts and may continue.
