Jinhu County Meteorological Observatory issues yellow warning for high temperature

At 16:37 on August 28, 2025, Jinhu County Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a high temperature yellow warning signal: it is expected that the highest temperature in most towns (streets), development zones, and farms in our county will reach 35 ℃ or above on August 29. The County Emergency Bureau and County Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3. Provide heatstroke prevention and cooling guidance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, and the young;

4. Those who work under high temperature conditions and need to do outdoor work for a long time during the day should take necessary protective measures.

江苏省气象台2025年08月28日09时51分继续发布高温橙色预警：预计28日南京、无锡、常州、苏州、镇江、扬州南部和泰州南部等地区最高气温可达37℃，南通、淮安、扬州中北部和泰州中北部等地区最高气温可达35~36℃。省应急厅（省防减救灾办）、省气象局提醒注意防范。
