Additional rainfall earlier today, and next week could lengthen the amount of time area rivers remain in flood or bring additional rises next week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Columbus. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.2 feet, State Road 11 in the Garden City area closed at this level during March 2008 flood. Every road leading to or crossing the East Fork White River in Bartholomew County except for State Road 46 was flooded during the bigger March 2008 flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM EST Saturday the stage was 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:00 PM EST Saturday was 14.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0 feet this afternoon.
