Guidelines

Affected by the circulation of Typhoon "Huajiasha", it is expected that the average wind speed will increase to 9-10 levels, with gusts of around 12 levels, and there may be strong winds of 14 levels or above or tornadoes in some areas starting from the second half of this night. The Zhaoqing Meteorological Observatory upgraded the yellow typhoon warning signals for Duanzhou District and Dinghu District to orange at 20:50 on September 23, 2025.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make emergency preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop large-scale indoor and outdoor gatherings, suspension of work, class, operation, market, and business (except for special industries);

3. On-water operations in relevant waters and passing ships shall return to the port to avoid wind, strengthen port facilities, and prevent ships from anchoring, grounding and collision;

4. Reinforce or dismantle structures that are easy to be blown by the wind. Personnel should stay in a wind-proof and safe place as much as possible. When the center of the typhoon passes by, the wind will decrease or remain static for a period of time. Remember that strong winds will suddenly blow, and should continue to stay. Take shelter from the wind in a safe place, and promptly transfer people from dangerous houses;

5. Relevant areas should pay attention to preventing mountain torrents and geological disasters that may be caused by heavy rainfall.
