The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand while the moderate to rather strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the upper country while isolated thundershowers are possible in the South. The moderated to rather strong wind force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, At 01.00 p.m. LST (25 Sep), tropical storm “RAGASA” over Guangxi, China was downgrade to the tropical depression will move into the upper part of Vietnam by today. Storm “RAGASA” is forecasted to downgrade rapidly due to the extending of the high pressure system of China during 25-26 September 2025. This storm is not move to Thailand. Due to storm “RAGASA”, the monsoon through and the southwest monsoon prevailing Thailand will strengthen during 25-26 September 2025.

At 01.00 a.m. LST (25 September 2025), typhoon “RAGASA”, was down grade to the severe tropical storm. At 04.00 a.m. was centered in the south of Guangxi, China or at latitude 21.9 degrees north and longitude 109.0 degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 90 km./hr. This storm is moving west with a speed of 20 km/hr. It is expected to move into the upper part of Vietnam by today. Storm “RAGASA” is forecast to downgrade rapidly due to the extending of the high-pressure system of China during 25-26 September. This storm is not move to Thailand. The storm “RAGASA” effects to the monsoon through which lie across the North and the upper Northeast and southwest monsoon which prevail over the Thailand more strength. Heavy to very heavy rain will occur in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East during 25-26 September 2025. The wind force waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution.
