Water levels exceeded moderate flood stage earlier today. The latest forecast from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources indicates that water levels may near major flood stage by the middle of this week. - Water levels are expected to remain above flood stage at least through the middle of next week, assuming no additional rainfall occurs.
