THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL ALLOW TORNADO WATCH 389 TO EXPIRE AT 11 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN COLORADO THIS ALLOWS TO EXPIRE 8 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST COLORADO ADAMS ARAPAHOE LOGAN MORGAN PHILLIPS SEDGWICK WASHINGTON WELD THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AKRON, AURORA, CENTENNIAL, FORT MORGAN, GREELEY, HOLYOKE, JULESBURG, STERLING, THORNTON, WESTMINSTER, AND WINDSOR.

Central Washington County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 100 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 959 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Akron, Otis, Elba, Platner, Gary, Woodrow and Woodlin School.
