At 11:30 am on January 10th, the Meteorological Bureau of Chayu County continued to issue a yellow warning signal for road icing: since the 7th, there has been heavy snow in high-altitude mountainous areas such as Demla Mountain, Yixiu Mountain, and Zhe La Mountain, followed by cooling and strong winds. The snow and dark ice phenomena on the road sections of S201 Ranwu to Demla Mountain and G219 Chayu to Chawalong are still serious, and road traffic safety precautions need to be taken. Defense measures: 1. Traffic, public security and other departments should do a good job in dealing with road snow and ice accumulation; 2. Drivers need to take anti-skid measures to ensure safe driving; 3. The temperature is low in the morning and evening, so it is necessary to take measures to prevent and keep warm.
Description
When the road surface temperature is lower than 0°C, precipitation occurs, and road icing that affects traffic may occur within 12 hours.
